Ranchi became Jharkhand’s capital in 2000, but its industry dates from 1958, when Heavy Engineering Corporation was set up to build equipment for India’s steel plants. The Tatisilwai and Namkum industrial areas host wire-rope, engineering and food units, and Patratu, 40 km away, has steel mills and a large power project.
As the state capital, Ranchi also needs facility, housekeeping and support staff for offices, hospitals and campuses. TNSL supplies both plant and facility workforces under one compliance process.

It depends on the numbers, skills and shifts. As a guide from our own work: for a greenfield cable plant near Ahmedabad we mobilised about 200 workmen in three months, and for an FMCG plant in Aligarh we deployed 125+ workers in 45 days. We agree a ramp-up plan with you before the first deployment.
In Jharkhand, the minimum wage for an unskilled worker (Area A: Ranchi, Dhanbad, Chas, Deoghar, Hazaribagh, Mango and Adityapur municipal corporations, Jamshedpur and Jugsalai) is ₹13,586 a month (₹523 a day), with higher rates for semi-skilled and skilled workers. The full table, with the effective date and source, is on this page.
In Jharkhand, Professional Tax applies and there is no Labour Welfare Fund contribution. PF and ESI apply everywhere. TNSL deducts and deposits every applicable due and shares the supporting records and challans with you as agreed.
Yes. We supply production, maintenance and warehouse workers for plants, and housekeeping, front-office and support staff for offices and campuses, under one contract and one compliance process.
Under contract labour law, the principal employer must ensure contract workers are paid on time and that PF, ESI and other dues are deposited; if the contractor fails, the liability can fall on you. TNSL removes that risk by paying on time, depositing every due, and keeping licences, registers and challans audit-ready for your inspection.
Tell us the roles, numbers and start date. The right TNSL team will get back to you within two working days.
