Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman were Portuguese territories until 1954 and 1961, and were merged into one union territory in 2020. Tax incentives in earlier decades drew cables, plastics, textiles and yarn, packaging and FMCG plants to Silvassa, Rakholi, Khadoli and Daman’s industrial estates.
Most of the workforce comes from Gujarat, Maharashtra and North India, and many plants run large, continuous operations. Employers need stable workforces and contractors who understand the union territory’s own wage schedules.

Yes. We work across the Silvassa–Daman–Vapi belt and apply each location’s own rules: the union territory’s wage schedule in Silvassa and Daman, and Gujarat’s rates, Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund in Vapi.
Under contract labour law, the principal employer must ensure contract workers are paid on time and that PF, ESI and other dues are deposited; if the contractor fails, the liability can fall on you. TNSL removes that risk by paying on time, depositing every due, and keeping licences, registers and challans audit-ready for your inspection.
