The wine capital with a heavy-industry heart.

Nashik is famous for the Kumbh Mela and for its vineyards, which make it India’s wine capital. It is also a serious industrial city: Mahindra’s vehicle plant, Hindustan Aeronautics at Ozar, and electrical, engineering and packaging-film plants spread across Satpur, Ambad, Sinnar and Igatpuri.

The Samruddhi Expressway has cut travel to Mumbai and Nagpur, bringing new investment to Sinnar. Employers need skilled technicians and operators and contractors who handle Maharashtra’s zone and statutory rules correctly.

Questions employers ask about staffing in Nashik–Sinnar

How quickly can TNSL deploy contract workers in Nashik–Sinnar?

It depends on the numbers, skills and shifts. As a guide from our own work: for a greenfield cable plant near Ahmedabad we mobilised about 200 workmen in three months, and for an FMCG plant in Aligarh we deployed 125+ workers in 45 days. We agree a ramp-up plan with you before the first deployment.

What is the minimum wage for contract workers in Nashik–Sinnar?

In Maharashtra, the minimum wage for an unskilled worker (Zone I: municipal corporation areas, and industrial areas within 20 km of them) is ₹14,155 a month (₹544.42 a day), with higher rates for semi-skilled and skilled workers. The full table, with the effective date and source, is on this page.

Do Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund apply in Maharashtra?

In Maharashtra, Professional Tax applies and Labour Welfare Fund contributions apply. PF and ESI apply everywhere. TNSL deducts and deposits every applicable due and shares the supporting records and challans with you as agreed.

Can you supply workers for continuous-process plants such as film lines?

Yes. We supply operators, helpers and packers for continuous-process plants, plan shift rotations and reliefs, and keep standby workers so lines never run short.

As the principal employer, what is my liability for contract workers?

Under contract labour law, the principal employer must ensure contract workers are paid on time and that PF, ESI and other dues are deposited; if the contractor fails, the liability can fall on you. TNSL removes that risk by paying on time, depositing every due, and keeping licences, registers and challans audit-ready for your inspection.
