Renewable and transmission projects are built far from cities, on schedules tied to commissioning dates and grid connections. Teams have to be mobilised quickly, kept safe on high-risk work and paid correctly in states the company may not otherwise operate in.
TNSL mobilises site teams, handles inter-state worker requirements, and runs payroll and compliance across states. It also moved a power utility’s Rajasthan workforce of about 300 employees across 22 sites onto TNSL’s payroll without disrupting operations.
From construction through commissioning to operations and maintenance.
Construction, commissioning and O&M teams, including module cleaning crews.
Site engineers, technicians and O&M teams for turbines and substations.
Electrical and commissioning technicians for storage projects.
Linemen, fitters, electricians, supervisors and safety staff for lines and substations.
Screened for skills, documents and fitness before deployment, and replaced quickly if someone leaves.
TNSL clients in renewables and power.
Project sites bring their own obligations under the Labour Codes, in force since 21 November 2025.
The OSH Code’s contract labour chapter applies where 50 or more contract workers are engaged; TNSL holds the licence and keeps registers.
Where 10 or more inter-state migrant workers are employed, they must be registered, given an annual journey allowance and treated on par with local workers.
Safety gear, training and welfare facilities for high-risk electrical and height work, as the OSH Code requires.
Wages at or above each state’s notified rate, with PF and ESI deposited wherever the site is.
TNSL handles these obligations for every associate it deploys. Position as of November 2026; this is general information, not legal advice.
One partner from the first hire to every month’s payroll.
Roles, numbers, shifts, wages and start dates agreed upfront, with a plan for peaks and replacements.
Local sourcing through field networks, skill centres, job portals and referrals, with checks on skills, documents and fitness.
Appointment letters, PF and ESI registration, induction and safety briefing before day one.
Attendance, payroll, statutory deposits and registers every month, with challans and records shared as agreed.
