Compliance for facility staff
Facility staff supplied through a contractor are contract labour. The OSH Code, 2020 replaced CLRA on 21 November 2025, and minimum wages apply by state and skill category.
Minimum wages
Every facility worker is paid at or above the notified minimum wage for the state, zone and skill category.
PF and ESI
EPF and ESI contributions are deposited for every eligible associate, with challans shared as agreed.
Contract labour rules
Where 50 or more contract workers are engaged, the OSH Code’s contract labour chapter applies; TNSL holds the licence and keeps registers.
Welfare and safety
Uniforms, safety gear for technical staff, and the welfare facilities the OSH Code requires.
